IMaNHC project phases out after strengthening four Dodoma health facilities

The IMaNHC project, led by CMSR-TZ in partnership with Doctors with Africa CUAMM and COPE and supported by AICS, ended on 30 September 2025 after a three-month extension.

Across St Gemma Hospital, Makole HC, Mkonze HC and Hombolo HC, the project delivered monthly facility follow-up mentorship, quarterly supportive supervision with MoH, PO-RALG, RHMT and CHMT representatives, and the procurement, distribution and installation of medical equipment. A total of 68 A3 colour Standard Operating Procedures were printed, laminated and distributed together with 20 books of maternal and neonatal guidelines.

The Ministry of Health and PO-RALG have asked CMSR-TZ to replicate the intervention in other CEmONC facilities of Dodoma City and the region.
