The CMSR-TZ Board
The CMSR Board has six members and serves as the organisation's governing body. Members hold office for three years and may be re-appointed based on their active participation and performance in Board duties. The Board is composed of the Chairperson, the Vice Chairperson and Board Members.
The Board members hold office with no remuneration, except for the refund of expenses sustained while carrying out their duties. They meet every six months, or at any time requested by a majority of members. Resolutions are passed by simple majority; in case of equality the Executive Director has a casting vote.

Board Chairperson
Represents CMSR-TZ, provides leadership to the Board, ensures compliance with Government and CMSR policies, presides over Board meetings and leads the strategy for attracting donors to the organisation.
Dr. Jacob A. Chembele
Vice Chairperson
Participates in Board meetings, discussions and decision-making, and supports the governance and fundraising duties of the Board.

Board Member
Participates in Board meetings, reviews and approves programmes and budgets for the development of the organisation.

Board Member
Participates in Board meetings and supports the Board in advancing the mission of the organisation.

Participates in Board meetings and supports governance, oversight and resource mobilisation for the organisation.

Shall provide leadership and management for CMSRTZ through advocacy in health, Water and Sanitation, Education, Agriculture and Youth empowerment for the people within the working areas and the entire communities.

He will have both internal and external facing responsibilities ranging from beneficiaries and project management. He will work closely with the Executive Director and Technical Management Team.
